One trick I do to keep motivated while working from home is to spread out my meetings. I try to stay away from back to backs as they are not the healthy way to work anyway. 1. Always have a morning meeting, e.g. 9:00 or 9:30 if you are working with UK time zone partners. You can adjust that to earlier if you are working with APAC. 2. Always have a meeting just before lunch, e.g. 11:30 and another one after lunch e.g., 1:30pm 3. Try to engage in video calls, so dress for these meetings. 4. Prepare the right drink, if you are into coffee or tea, then prepare these in between meetings. Getting up from your chair is simple but effective 5. Catch up a colleague or a stakeholder at least 3 times a day for a video chat to keep inspirations

When at home, sometimes we can get lost doing work or attending calls and be at one position for long. This can have adverse effect to your body if done prolonged. One the ways is to stretch your legs and go for a quick 2 mins, every 90 mins, trip to kitchen or backyard. This not only gives physical break and also provides a mental break to recharge. Another one is to have an adjustable desk to keep you active. Keep a sticky one at your desk to remind you of taking breaks! There are immense benefits of working while standing (I used to do meetings when standing). Choose what works for you and make sure you do it regularly.

Look for self growth books which are helpful in any field. Commit only small amount of it every day. This way you will find a way to fill the idle time in your day with something fruitful.
