If you are the leader of a team it's your responsibility for taking care of financials. Make your deals transparent with team members too so people will trust you and do your work on priority. Always deal on payments and terms on preproduction level. try to lock things before going for heavy work like 3d modeling or hardcore compositings etc. You should have a trade key things which will make you unique in row.
