We gotta be aware of our numbers and how much we can translate in a day - and of course always bearing in mind externalities that somehow affect our job. It's a thousand times better to take your time to deliver top-notch documents than just complying with unreasonable deadlines.

Make yourself comfortable to work. Don't translate if you're tired. If necessary, take a 20-minute nap. Working while being tired is not a good idea. All the time you spend working while exhausted means double work when the time to proofread comes!

You can also incorporate the client's preferences into the prompt to skip the post editing layer. PS: Break the text into chunks because GenAI tools can manage small portions better than whole text or chapters.

Before translation starts, clearly define the project's target audience, tone, and any specific terminology.
