It was very discouraging for me before when a leader told me that "we don't have the leverage to train you so you will have to level up very soon". Don't be that manager and empower them to try things out and give them time so they can develop their own styles. It is part of our responsibility as leaders to take the demerits for the people we are helping to become the next leaders.
