The key is to integrate technology without losing the essence of human teaching. Teachers bring invaluable experience, intuition, and adaptability, while tech provides efficiency, scalability, and data-driven insights. For instance, when implementing a new digital learning tool, gather feedback from teachers on how it fits with their teaching style. If a math teacher prefers interactive discussions, use tech to enhance that with virtual math labs rather than replacing the conversation. It’s about using tech to amplify the teacher’s role, not diminish it, ensuring that the technology aligns with both curriculum goals and the human touch that teachers bring to learning.

?? #Educación #Tecnología #Innovación #frichtorres

The key is to listen to the teachers concerns and display understanding of their wants and needs but ultimately finding a compromise which meets those wants and needs while complying with distict and government guidelines. I remember one example when I was in the classroom where I wanted to use a website that was virtual legos. This was early in my career and to me (at the time) it was just virtual blocks that students could drag and drop for math and engineering projects. Now I understand why admin said no: the site had no complience to protect student privacy and there was no teacher oversite or monitoring within the platform. It was not a safe platform for student use and the site has in fact shutdown since then.

Balancing teacher input with educational technology guidelines requires thoughtful integration. Here's how to find harmony: - Bridge the gap with collaboration: Facilitate discussions between teachers and tech experts to ensure both perspectives are understood and valued. - Adapt guidelines to classroom realities: Where possible, adjust tech protocols to reflect the practical challenges teachers face, ensuring the technology supports rather than constrains their methods. - Pilot and adjust: Implement small-scale trials to test how the guidelines work in real classrooms, using feedback from teachers to refine and improve.
