Desde mi experiencia los riesgos hay que separarlos entre los riesgos idiosincráticos, relativos a los riesgos estructurales y operacionales de los profesionales claves de la empresa; y los riesgos del entorno. La planeación financiera y de crecimiento deben tributar a ambos riesgos, con el fin de identificar oportunidades significativas para definir estrategias y recursos.

Desde mi punto de vista existen tres estrategias base: 1. Estrategias de crecimiento que apuntan a aumentar el tama?o de la empresa para posicionarse en el mercado. 2. Estrategia de desempe?o que apuntan a mejorar procesos productivos y de toma de decisiones. 3. Estrategias de Vinculación que apuntan a aumentar las redes para articular el poder dentro de la industria o la localidad. Cada objetivo y estrategia funcional deberá tributar a las que he mencionado.

It might be correct at times to act contrarian and not thereby follow the route that your competitors are headed in terms of investing but there needs to be compelling reasons for that which your stakeholders will buy into.
