Make CTFs your best friend. In cybersecurity, if you're looking to assess your skills whether it be in blue team or red team you should opt for CTFs. Major CTF Platforms are HackTheBox and TryHackMe but there are numerous out there e.g. if you're looking to assess your Cloud security skills, pwnedlabs is the way to go. Start doing CTFs, it not only will help you assess your skills but will also sharpen them at the same time.
