We cannot doubt that a common & important key to success is assigning tasks according to employees’ talents, strengths, and potential. Here, I’m unsure whether there can be equality or if we should speak about equity, meaning it is fair. Equality = you give all team members an equal number of tasks or tasks that are of the same difficulty level (can you define them correctly?). Equity = you understand that each team member has individual strengths and weaknesses, abilities, & talents, so everyone is provided with resources specific to their needs to be successful in their task. The tasks themselves are assigned acc. to individual potential, with consideration of the time each person needs to fulfil the task.

I love the idea of implementing a rotation system. It would allow for fair access to challenges and opportunities for all. However, the decision to assign a task depends on its nature and deadline. When time allows, I prefer to assign tasks to team members who may be less experienced, as it provides them with a valuable learning opportunity and keeps them engaged in their work. If I cannot assign a task to a specific team member for other reasons, then I need to start thinking whether they should be part of the team altogether.
