Automation is not the only solution to achieve Communication. Let's Follow Project SOP. ?? Maintain SPOC for individual communication. (Single Point of contact) ?? Define Communication matrix, limit Unwanted 'CC'. ?? Resolve conflicts among teams and ensure Smooth Communication ?? flag open loops and communication Hope above is sorted way to work without any SAP or ERP within medium scale industries

As part of vendor management,to close the communication gap, is by having effective communication instead of communicate to counter. So, be neutral and :- 1) Identified the problem statement. 2) Look for the root cause 3) Categorize the issue 4) Narrow the issue 5) Refer back to latest RACI chart 6) called for discussion and listen to both parties 7) plan how to resolve and move ahead 8) identified possible consequence management action (if any)

I am very passionate about this as it addresses one of the top reasons projects fail. I believe the key to success is measurable, structured alignment. Here's my approach Shared Metrics KPIs that both IT & vendors can commit to, such as system uptime, delivery accuracy, or issue resolution time. Metrics are the foundation of alignment. Bridge the Knowledge Gap Dedicated facilitator that can translate technical requirements into actionable deliverables that make sense to both sides Collaborative Tools JIRA/Asana etc to centralize communication to ensure everyone's on the same page ACTIONable Check-Ins Meetings should go beyond updates. Use them to review progress against metrics and ensure alignment on next steps.

I once led the build of a complex ecosystem, aligning a regional office, core vendors, internal teams, and partners. The key? Ensuring everyone was anchored to the vision — every team knew why they were building, not just what. My tech leadership team and I didn’t sit back; we drove initiatives and followed through. When problems surfaced, we cut through layers of communication, connecting developers directly. No endless handoffs — just real-time collaboration to solve issues faster. This vision-driven, hands-on approach transformed communication and delivery.
