What are your areas of expertise, passion, and interest? What are your personal and professional values, goals, and vision? Write them down and review them regularly. This will help you build your self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-worth.

Become the "jack of all trades" and seize every opportunity that comes your way. 2) Alternatively, delve deep into a specialized domain. Master one aspect of the field and become an unparalleled expert in it.

Learning is a life-long process. Industry trends are constantly changing, and what worked 5 years ago may completely differ from what is working today. I watch videos about successful and failed brands regularly. Learn from what others have done right and wrong.

6 Be assertive, not aggressive

The sixth and final step to assert yourself is to be assertive, not aggressive. Being assertive means expressing your thoughts, feelings, and needs in a respectful and confident way, while respecting the rights and feelings of others. Being aggressive means imposing your views, wants, and interests on others, without regard for their rights and feelings. To be assertive, use positive and assertive language, body language, and tone of voice, and avoid blaming, criticizing, or threatening others.
