Balancing honesty in project updates is all about being real with stakeholders without overwhelming them. I focus on keeping updates clear and focused on facts. If there are challenges or delays, I don't hide them; instead, I explain the cause, how we're addressing it, and what the impact might be. I make sure to also highlight what’s on track and the progress we’re making, so the whole picture is visible. It’s about framing updates with honesty and solutions—showing that we’re aware of issues and actively managing them. This builds trust and keeps stakeholders confident that the project’s in good hands, even when we hit bumps along the way.
