You need to use the language and technical terms that are appropriate to your audience. Avoid simplifying everything and talking down to people. There is a very good chance that the person you are assisting is smarter than you are…

You have to learn to professional as you are new in Technical Support, this will help you to emphasize your work, your learning journey and your Team Collaboration.

Courtesy helps to calm the agitated or irate customer and can help them see you as an ally. A heartfelt please and thank you go a long way to giving you and the customer a path to collaboration. Siempre debes estar en constante crecimiento y el conocimiento es imperativo para tu desarrollo. Busca cursos baratos y/o gratuitos. Tómalos en tus trayectos que normalmente son de más de una hora. Busca como desarrollar o ejercer tu aptitud. No todos somos expertos en lo mismo y puedes ser una persona que se especialice en algo inusual. Así que, siempre busca soluciones para lo más inédito que te pueda salir. Sé proactivo !!!

Never be afraid to ask questions! Even as an experienced tech, going to new employment can feel like starting all over again, so never be afraid to ask questions and clarify points. It's a lot easier to say to a user "I don't know, I will check and get back to you" then to clean up a mess caused by giving the wrong information. If you're with a good company, you should be partnered with a more experienced tech - lean on them and try to glean as much as you can. Also try to see if you can work with different mentors to gain different perspectives as you evolve in your tech journey.

Starting out in the IT field, it’s crucial to stick to your company’s processes and procedures, work on your soft skills, and keep improving your technical knowledge. 1. Keep notes handy and refer to training materials and docs. 2. Don’t stress over the little stuff; every day is a learning opportunity. 3. Mistakes are inevitable; acknowledge them and grow from them. 4. Recognize when to seek help. This is something I have always passed on to my juniors: 1. Understand and read as much as you can about the platform you support. 2.
