What were the risk, especially for the end users, in this release, how did we mitigate these risks by focusing our test effort on "where it hurts".

Looking Back: Once a project is finished, talk with the team about what went well with testing, and what could be better next time. Could it be faster, find more serious bugs, or use fewer resources? Always Learning: Keep up with new testing tools and techniques – the world of software testing is always evolving!

Aside from the tried and true as mentioned earlier, you'll know you're doing a great job by how you are greeted or referred to by the other managers. When things are going well, you're the rock star, and it's all smiles and "hey this!" and "hey that!". If you aren't coping or the job is more challenging than anticipated, that human aspect will be either entirely missing or even hostile.

Do not shy away from asking any type of queries you deem relevant to the product or journey. Even if the queries may sound silly and not relevant at first, they might actually be relevant or critical to the business flow. At worst the queries might be discarded giving you more clarity on what is relevant and what's not. Document your queries and resolution you obtained for future reference as those could help other teammates down the line when looking back at the agreement from stakeholders on key pointers. This would also help someone who joins new to the team or takes over the operations and overall gives a clear perspective of things to consider apart from what's officially documented on the requirements and Plans
