The first thing you need to do to create a model I believe is know what to make. like it is an object or a person? and then make sure to write the details about the "things" that what to make. for Example, I want to make sword, now I need to write down like what type of sword, it is two or one handed, colors, what the sword made of, what time the sword made, it is from what genre like fantasy, sci-fi, etc. and many more.

After you have picked a subject from a reference or an idea in your head, look at which technical areas are you going into, to make your models. Knowing these elements will give you a clearer overview of which tools you will need. If your picking a real-time character for example, you could choose: - Modelling: Blender/Maya/Zbrush -Texturing: Substance Painter/Designer/Mari/3D Coat -Real-time Hair: Fibershop/Blender/SDesigner -Clothing: Zbrush/Marvelous -Rendering: Blender/UE5/Unity/Marmoset Toolbag Some of the tools you need may come to light after you have started your piece as you gain further understanding of what you need and what could work better for your project. I Believe trying new software is great experiment and then try to compared to each other and looks what is the most easier to use. as for me I try 3 different software like Maya, 3DsMax, and Blender. and they are have pro and con. so i belive to try yourself and compare

Its kindda hard for me to know what Hardware to use and even harder if want to make your on PC. but the easier way to make or to know what hardware to use its kindda simpple. "if its good for gaming, its good for Modeling".

It's hard to say which hardware is better for you because what you do can influence it, obviously if you have the resources the topnotch would be the best way to go, but you don't need it to start, if you want to focus on rendering, a strong PC would be better, but if you to model and go for more simple scenes, you can choose a bit more basic PC to start things out.
