There are certain traits to be demonstrated when you are being guided by your mentor. 1. Be a blank slate to absorb what your mentor tells, demonstrates. Be a good observer. 2. Stay curious- Curiosity shows you are open to learning. Most mentors like this attitude. In the course of time they would share many insights which would shape your profile. 3. Don't interrupt - while they are guiding, don't show off that you know better. If you already know it, assimilate. 4. Implement - make a note of valuable share and start implementing step by step. If it doesn't work initially, don't get frustrated. Try again. Rome was not built in a day.
