In my experience connectors shall be selected according to the load and voltage level required in the system. ou should always choose connectors that have higher voltage and current ratings than the expected load of your project, to account for any fluctuations, surges, or spikes.

In my opinion choosing right electrical connectors depends on following. 1-Project Requirements Analysis: Voltage level, Current capacity and environmental conditions. 2-Connector Material and Durability: High quality materials that are resistant to corrosion and environmental challenges. Recomendo selecionar conectores que possuam classifica??es de tens?o e corrente mais altas do que a carga esperada do projeto. Isso é importante para acomodar flutua??es, surtos ou picos de energia que possam ocorrer. Por exemplo, se o projeto envolve uma carga de 12V DC e 5A, é aconselhável procurar conectores com classifica??es de pelo menos 15V DC e 10A. In my opinion on selecting the right connector we consider the above criters: - Type of signal used (ac, dc, data, audio etc) - applicable area (indoor, outdoor) - datasheet must be compatible with calculated loads ( current, voltage etc) - also durability, effectiveness and desing shoul be take in consideration

It is very essential to match the Connector size to the selected wire size in order to fit inside the conducting groove of the connector and vise versa. If the above is not fulfilled results will be: - poor connection - voltage drop - loss connection - over heat - fire in worst scenario -etc.,
