Read deming, donella meadows, Sidney dekker and understand that is 85% about systems. Try to switch one by one leadership mindset. Only then you can have lasting changes. Culture can only change when leadership get more wisdom.

for safety professionals to be successful in thier career; then need to understand the limits of thier knowledge. Safery in a multidisciplinary field and we need to be able to identify the areas that we need to get external consultation for due to iur lack if expertise in it. also we need to have on going development plan to keep upto date with our field .
