Firstly, time blocks really improve my estimation of what I can get done (as opposed to to-do lists) because I have a limited amount of time. Also, I can look back and see what I've done and get an overview of what I've accomplished. Personally, I have everything from appointments to sports to work tasks on my calendar.

When overwhelmed, you need to be in good shape to tackle everything and for this you must take care of yourself first. And another important thing: you need to be functional after this turmoil of projects stops, and for this to happen, you need to work in a sustainable way. And now some tools: Gantt charts, Toggl, Harvest, or Clockify, Asana, Monday.com, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, the Eisenhower Matrix. All you need is on Google, so don't spend too much time wondering what to use. Focus on yourself first.
