Listening is important. I recommend repeating what the person interviewing said so you ensure you heard them correctly. This is especially important if they ask you more than one question at a time. The other piece that's important is ensuring you tie your answer with how this would BENEFIT the person/company you're interviewing for. Sometimes we give answers assuming the dots are connected. I did X and we assume they know that this will help company with Y- never assume - take the moment and explain how it benefits them.

If you master your stuff, you will spread confidence fro this get only this trickand forget about the rest: Write 100 possible questions and answers adapted to the company profile and your expertise( 45 mn easy with chatGPT), replace the difficult words and update to your own style, Research in front of the mirror and record yourself, hear your record everywhere car, supermarket... very important don't lessen to news or engage in discussions out if the questions topic. Do this at least one week before the interview and Voilà ??

Ensure you know the company's culture via heavy research during interview preparation. Do not take over the interview let the interview control the process. When answering questions do not give generic year book answers instead meld you own experiences/accomplishments into you answers. Never be negative but accentuate the positive to leave a good impression.

Utilize STAR interviewing technique! Start with explaining the Situation, move to the Task that you accomplished, talk through your Action plan and end with the Result. This will help you stay structured and on topic from start to finish. If you find yourself rambling, it is okay to take a breathe and get back on track. If you need time to think about an example, that is okay - the interviewer will appreciate you taking the time to be thoughtful and impactful in your response.

Not only are long answers and long stories missing the point, you are wasting precious time! Save time at the end for your own questions to the interviewer/ panel. Time management is key. If they didn't tell you already, ask how long the interview is!

I highly recommend getting mock interviews by your Professional peers. In which you will definitely get an Insight what the other phase of Interview looks like. After giving mock interview. Be open to the feedback and try to create a middle ground with what you already are and what the feedback is insisting upon. There's nothing wrong in constantly changing which is nothing but Updating/Upskilling.
