I think having 10 to 20 questions to ask the interviewer about the company is essential. It shows that you are curious. Ask them questions about how they interact with the role, how they like working for the company, what gets them out of bed in the morning, and other things that help you stand out. Remember that being selected by the company is just as important as choosing the company. People forget that the interview needs to flow both ways.

Prepare questions, but don’t forget you are interviewing them as well. At the end of the interview, if you don’t have more questions, and you unfortunately received some answers to questions you didn’t expect to ask yourself during the process, it may not be a good fit. Workplace cultures can be ruthless, it’s worth not taking the first bite if there may be a bigger fish coming along.

I feel the delivery during an interview is hit or miss, whether you are the candidate or the interviewer. I've been the interviewer for over a decade now. And since the pandemic, we have primarily been conducting interviews virtually. This has caused interview(ers)(s) to be difficult. The interviewee is not sure of themselves, has difficulty with tone, speaking clearly, eye contact, etc. The list goes on. I blame trying to determine where to look, is my hair fixed, and so on. I'm thankful for the convenience of virtual interviews, but I'm looking forward to when we are on the same page.

Research and read a lot of reading on what the company is about, get all the information you can get. On the day of your interview, just be you, don't over think or look at the crowd. Own the interview and do the talking with good examples and experiences you have gathered over the years. Don't fake anything.
