However, it’s crucial to remember that AI is a tool to enhance your strategy, not replace your leadership. While AI can offer valuable insights and automate certain tasks, the creative direction and decision-making should remain firmly in your hands. Use AI to inform your strategies and make your processes more efficient, but always keep the human touch in your campaigns.

What personally excites me most about this topic is that the basis has been removed for all the empty words and excuses (and yes, I’ve had to use them myself as a small cog in companies) to ignore inclusion or barrier-free communication. Nowadays, if a PR professional doesn’t provide an inclusive offering of their content, it’s solely due to willingness, not money, for the necessary translation or transformation services. However, it’s likely a bittersweet realization that despite this, you’re still one step ahead of the competition. This area needs even more attention.

Be careful. AI can help a lot, but altogether, it removes the most crucial element of any PR campaign - authenticity. Without authentic messaging, any PR campaign is doomed from the start. Even when contributing to LinkedIn articles, I still write by myself and do not use AI. There is something to be said for authentic, knowledgeable, and realistic content. While AI creates great content, engaging is another issue. What content works best, AI-generated images of people at an event or actual people at an event? What article will you stop your scroll for, an AI-generated piece that is too vague and generic or a thought-provoking article that the writer spends a lot of time researching thoroughly to help solve an issue?

AI tools can analyze data to understand what your audience likes and predict future trends. They can also help automate tasks like creating content, scheduling, and organizing who sees your messages. Plus, AI-powered chatbots can quickly answer people's questions, making them happier. By using AI, your PR campaigns can be more personalized and based on data, helping you connect better with your audience in today's fast-changing digital world.

Real-time insights from AI is like a game-changer for PR. Being able to track performance across platforms would definitely help refine campaigns on the fly.
