Trust starts way before a person sets foot in my studio. Social proof from others that I've worked with helps to build trust. I have consultations with my client either in person or on Zoom so that we can get to know each other a little bit before we work together. I think this is super important.

I stick with these 9% of contribution and write and write and it seems that questions get more and more out of this planet...... I wonder when I reach these promised 5%. All depends what type of shoot you need to have - you apply methods then. Photography is all about seduction. You seduce people with your pictures - you seduce models with your eyes, words, lenses. And other photos you have taken long time ago.

I don't work with models as I only photograph paying clients. I do however tell them that they do not have to worry about posing. That's my job...to help them look their very best. It's important for me to provide clear and straightforward instructions. I use simple, concise language to explain each pose or expression I want. It's one of the things my clients appreciate more about working with me.

Introvert or extravert - it actually does not matter. Matters body that you want to photograph. You are not looking for a life partner. You need photos. Sometimes models feel like they take photoshoot as some life time bond! I just need good photos. Nothing more. And I have to know ways to get them.

Introverts seldom have creative inputs. This comes when they open and get involved in the whole process. initially they are sealed. Same with Clients in the beginning.

Inviting someone for a photoshoot and the presence of this person means that both parties want to do something. So half of the job is done. Tell model what you like about her. Be always open. It may be face feature. It may be perfect body. It may be sensuality. Be sincere and clear. You are an artist.

The simple truth is photography is a psychological profession. I bring compassion and empathy to every session. A client who is shy or uncomfortable having their photo taken, still wants a true to them photograph that makes them feel loved and seen. My job is to do that in the most thoughtful, professional, and empathetic way possible. I work to make them feel safe and comfortable. They move the session through their comfort level. Once we’ve established a relationship, I can suggest poses, scenes, and other ideas that help create fun and exciting images. Photography should be fun for everyone involved.
