1 Not prioritizing your tasks

One of the biggest challenges of operations research is dealing with multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders. You may feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do and the expectations you have to meet. But not all tasks are equally important or urgent. If you don't prioritize your tasks, you may end up wasting time on low-value activities or missing critical deadlines. To avoid this, you need to use a prioritization framework, such as the Eisenhower matrix, the Pareto principle, or the MoSCoW method, to sort your tasks into categories based on their importance and urgency. Then, you need to focus on the most important and urgent tasks first, delegate or outsource the less important ones, and eliminate or postpone the least important ones.

SMART goals help you define what you want to achieve, how you will measure your progress, whether your goals are within your reach, why your goals matter to you and your stakeholders, and when you will complete them.
