Language has never been a barrier in building professional network.... linkedin is really my top personal choice. Probably the only platform which purely for professionals and no nonsense like other social platforms. One should know English to the extent that you are able to convey your message. Auto translation does excellent work even if you post in other language.

Tools like AI, chatGPT,Dux Soup, Microsoft Teams, Google Translate, zoom , google meet etx.Such AI-powered translation tools can facilitate effective communication across language barriers.

As a non-native English speaker in IT Outsourcing, reaching out to mentors can be a valuable strategy for building a professional network. Look for experienced professionals who are willing to offer guidance and support. Engage with them through platforms like LinkedIn or professional organizations. Seek advice on language skills improvement, cultural nuances, and navigating the industry. Building relationships with mentors not only provides valuable insights but also opens doors to broader networking opportunities within the IT outsourcing community.

I think language isn't a big problem when making professional connections. First, we have lots of translation apps and tools to help us communicate when we need to. Second, dealing with language issues is not just about getting past those barriers. It's also a chance to show off what you can do professionally and get involved with others in your field. Lastly, if you really love working in IT, you'll find the motivation to get better at English.
