I’ve had to work remotely at times, and so have my teammates. To keep collaboration smooth, we rely on regular check-ins via Skype, ensuring everyone’s on the same page. We also set up daily or weekly syncs to go over progress, challenges, and share new ideas. For version control, we use GitHub to track changes and manage project files, while Figma helps us collaborate on art in real-time. This setup makes it feel like we’re working together even when we’re miles apart, keeping the workflow seamless and the creativity flowing.

To maintain collaboration in our remote environment, I use Notion for task management with my team. We create shared workspaces for projects, using databases to track tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities. We utilize comments for discussions, @mentions for notifications, and real-time updates to stay in sync. #aigamepreneur

"Hey, I'm actually great at that. Need any help?" No current tech can replace the lucky "matchmaking" that working under the same roof creates. But there are a few things I've tested with my teams that help: – hang out IRL (just less) – visit the office sometimes or do retreats if you live far away – hang out while you work – create a 24/7 call for "Just Working" that people can work together in (mostly silently – it should mimic an office) – hire good project managers – they need to get people talking openly instead of secretly spiraling when they have an issue Of course, as any remote setup, you will: → have almost the same results as work irl with pros → have a lot less of a productive team with beginners Take that into account.
