"Transparency builds trust." In my experience, navigating organizational change while maintaining trust with vendors requires clear, proactive communication. For example, I once faced a company restructure and immediately scheduled meetings with key vendors to explain how the changes would impact our partnership, setting new expectations early. One helpful strategy is sharing updates regularly, even if no major developments occur, to reassure them of the ongoing relationship. A common mistake is withholding information, which creates uncertainty and weakens trust. By being transparent and collaborative, you strengthen vendor relationships during times of change.

If the organizational change is in Management (CEO & C-suite) usually a notification letter is sent/published, and website is updated with the changes, highlighting there is no changes that might affect externally, however the notification will enhance what is going to make internal improvements. If the organizational change is in Procurement Process, a notification letter is common to be shared to vendors. Any other change usually can also be notified like the Management one, i.e. change of lead name or a merge/acquisition, outlining that for the moment changes will not affect relationship and communication flow will continue in case of critical needs.
