Whats the middle, ok you not junior anymore. So you know whats going on in the business. If you see that your current job makes you stuck in old technology and you cant move on its time to look for a change, maybe go from on premise to cloud or from relational db to non relational. Check if you want to go on to be a developer or some kind of manager (team lead, PO or what so ever).
