En mi experiencia el pensamiento estratégico tiene que ir de la mano directamente con la filosofía empresarial, de ella depende el análisis de oportunidades, desafíos, ventajas y desventajas que harían marcar un diferenciador ante el mercado.

También se debe tener en cuenta las debilidades y fortalezas de su equipo de trabajo. Con esto fortalece su estrategia para afrontar los diferentes desafíos.

It’s imperative to take two actions: you must create dedicated time for reflection without trying to solve issues to strengthen your vision and you have to listen to your customers and team about how your vision is actually impacting them and do they want it. Flexibility without abandoning the vision, will help determine the what and the how.

This paragraph and/or idea resonates with me as it underscores the multifaceted nature of strategic thinking in management. It's not just about devising plans but also about understanding the broader context, mobilizing resources, and continuously adapting. It reminds me of the dynamic nature of leadership roles, where foresight and agility are essential for success amidst ever-evolving business landscapes.

Using strategic thinking involves critically analyzing the current situation, identifying long-term goals, and developing action plans to achieve those goals. Some ways to apply strategic thinking include: 1. Analysis: Evaluate the external and internal environment critically to understand the opportunities and challenges facing the organization. 2. Long-term vision: Clearly define long-term objectives and visualize how the organization wants to position itself in the future. 3. Planning: Develop detailed plans that involve the allocation of resources and the sequence of actions necessary to achieve strategic objectives. 4. Adaptability: Be willing to adjust strategic plans in response to changes in the environment or new opportunities.

Clarity is kindness. A leader must communicate often and provide clarity for the organization. They must provide a strategy tied to the goals of the organization and clearly articulate how each functional unit contributes to the whole.

Actively listening is a skill that takes time in leadership but it is the golden rule in any leadership position. Allowing someone to have the floor and speak openly helps building strong interpersonal relationships with staff and clients, allowing them to just feel heard as well has gathering insight into their needs makes for a positive productive work environment.

What you say and how you say it are vital to maintaining healthy relationships with employees. Leaders need to be clear in their message and remove any barriers to communication (i.e., noise, heightened emotions, or unnecessary participants).

Communication is key in translating thought into action. As a practice manager you need to be able to deliver your message in a way that's tailored to make the most impact on your audience. From fresh graduates, to senior staff, directors to clients and partners the way you say, type, or show it is just as important as the information itself. An investment in your communication skills will see a huge return on investment in both your career and life.

It involves using effective techniques to transmit information, ideas and emotions in a clear and understandable way. Some ways to apply communication skills include: 1. Active listening: Paying attention to what others say, showing genuine interest in their words and asking questions to demonstrate understanding. 2. Clarity and conciseness: Communicate messages clearly and directly, avoiding ambiguities or unnecessary jargon. 3. Empathy: Understanding the emotions and perspectives of others, and communicating in a way that demonstrates consideration for their feelings. 4. Constructive feedback: Provide feedback in a constructive and respectful manner, focusing on the observed behavior rather than judging the person.

Customer Service: Maintain a focused approach on customer needs and wants, constantly looking for ways to improve their experience. Applying an innovation mindset can drive the continued growth and evolution of an organization, allowing it to adapt to changing environments and stay relevant in its industry.

We like to think of innovation as linking two concepts to form a bridge, making desired outcomes easier to obtain. We often ask in our company is this a process problem, a people problem, or a technology problem. You can find innovation in all three, but the first step is being sure what problem you need to solve. Solving the wrong problem with more innovation just causes more complexity and worse results.

Emotional intelligence is based on organization's overall cultural settings. This helps for effective communication and generate belongingness to the organization.

I’ve found emotional intelligence to be indispensable. It’s about more than just recognizing body languages and cues; it’s about adaptability and awareness to those around you. effective communication and nurturing relationship stemmed from this emotional intelligence, allowing us to empathize less actively and build trust.

Emotional intelligence is the secret sauce for success in practice management. It's about understanding and connecting with emotions – yours and others. By humanizing the workplace experience, it empowers you to motivate, support, and inspire your team, leading to a thriving work culture. In short, cultivating emotional intelligence isn't just desirable; it's essential for executive success.

El estar a cargo de un gran y numeroso equipo de trabajo me ha llevado a replantearme el concepto de la inteligencia emocional, ya que al conceptualizar a las emociones propias y ajenas como una variante para el desempe?o no se las deja atrás y siempre se lo mantiene en mente para una mejor convivencia y ambiente laboral. Logrando mejores resultados con base en la empatía, comprensión y entendimiento de todo el equipo para alcanzar un fin común.

Practice is all about building capability and expertise for the future. Any practice manager must think beyond and motivate the team to learn new areas and build POCs to keep the learning active till it is used in delivery.

Una visión muy afín a mi filosofía de trabajo es la experiencia en base a la práctica, este concepto ayuda a fortalecer la experiencia técnica y una ves adquirido el conocimiento poder aportar con un punto de vista más apegado a la realidad, opiniones que ayuden a la toma de decisiones acertadas en el ámbito profesional. El conocer todo el ámbito técnico y tener una bases en las cuales sustentar las desiciones a tomar fortalecen la confianza en el equipo y ante los clientes.

The ability to discern is often based on intuition, experience, and critical thinking. It involves making informed decisions, identifying patterns, and understanding the nuances of complex situations to navigate challenges effectively. Young aspiring leaders who need to strengthen this skill should seek the wise counsel of mentors and professional peers, and should learn the power of trusting their gut!

I would highly recommend that you find an operating system for your business or department. Our company uses EOS (Entrepreneur Operating System), there are many others out there. All systems of this kind seek to bring tools and structure around leadership and management concepts. Having a structure allows everyone involved to know how best to fulfill their role or where they have deviated. Good leaders have a plan and communicate it clear, good managers have good systems that help employees hit both company and personal goals. Using a business operating system helps organize those practices into daily tasks so everyone can win.

In my experience it all comes down to your people, the team is what matters above all else. Everything falls into place when you focus on the needs and offer support to the people who help take care of your business. So take care of your team, seek collaboration for ways to improve processes, be available always and most importantly be an active member of the team, stay in the trenches with them and never allow yourself to become removed from the day to day stresses and work load they carry to help your practice succeed.

Team building is essential to practice management as you bring individual skills to a team where members not only contribute their unique skills but also build new skills that have the team in mind towards greater efficiency and optimization. Skill development is essential to ensure rules and responsibilities are exacting and individuals seen as competent members of the team Critical thinking is necessary at all levels to solve problems before they get bigger.
