1 Identify the root causes

There could be many factors that affect your team's decision-making process, such as lack of clarity, trust, or alignment, conflicting priorities or goals, insufficient information or resources, or personal biases or preferences. Simple Strategies: When resolving the team's difficulties, leadership must be encouraging and upbeat. Maintain a clear and basic strategy. 1. Ask the team to identify the areas that require focus. 2. Ask the team to enumerate every area that has a negative influence. 3. Ask the group to identify the ideal resolution. 4. Assist the group in formulating an elaborate plan of action. 5. Assist the team in matching the members' competencies to the intended outcomes. 6. Encourage the team to identify their daily areas of success in achieving the SET targets and daily plan objectives.

Sometimes when a leader puts his/her employees on the spot to make a decision, they end up forced into a decision. A previous manager would always ask me when I came to him with a conundrum, what would you do? That gave me confidence in my decision making.
