My favourite are communication tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack and for project management, Trello is a tool that uses a Kanban board to visualize tasks and progress.

There are many tools for PM, most of them are useful, but communication is the most important factor. You need to have a clear communication plan, guideline and rules. You must also remember that thought isn't said, said isn't heard, heard isn't understood.... A clear communication is required, even more when you have multinational stakeholders.

If the team has many small projects or tasks to fulfill on an everyday basis you need an intuitive, user-friendly tool that visualises all the processes in place and who does what. Notion has been a god-send to manage all of our documentation. In a remote team, it's easy to lose context and run independently. Toda reunión debe tener un timekeeper (quien cuida los tiempos), un rabbithole (quien asegura que la agenda se cumpla, se mantenga el foco y anote nuevas ideas), un líder que lleve el hilo conductor, un anotador (de las conclusiones de las reuniones), el público general (que tiene rol participativo en la discusión) y cuando se dé la oportunidad tener un invitado. 2. Generar hábitos sanos en los equipos, una cultura de respeto y mucho trabajo en equipo. 3. Tener reuniones de alineación en grupo al inicio de la semana y dinámicas 1:1 en el curso de la misma. 4. Si se lideran equipos regionales sugiero cada dos meses hacer reuniones de tipo townhall.

Todas las herramientas mencionadas son fundamentales para una organización que trabaja fundamentalmente en remoto. Quizás las aplicaciones de time tracking son las menos útiles bajo mi punto de vista. Creo que las personas deben ser juzgadas por resultados, no por tiempo. Hecho en falta en el artículo un salesforce. La relación comercial con los clientes normalmente no es en remoto.
