Having an environment where you could express your opinions freely and receive constructive criticism not only encourage curiosity but it also strengthens team dynamics and resiliency to respond positively to feedbacks.

I am currently working in a startup and I can explain how to promote collaboration in startups. To foster a collaborative environment, we need to encourage open discussions and brainstorming sessions which allows everyone to contribute. Another thing that can be done is a "reflection call". The reflection call usually happens to be on the last working day in which people in the team share what they have done in the entire week and what are the new things they are learning and share some things about that so that everyone can learn from it and find ways to implement that in the current projects.
