One thing that is helpful when you're developing any skill is set clear and achievable goals. To do so with behaviors change, you can start by making daily ‘mental checks’ about your behaviors and analyzing if they were aligned with your intentions. Sometimes is difficult to conclude if these behaviors were adaptable or resilient. Use reference questions helps to clarify, like: “How did my actions today are aligned with resilience and adaptability?”, “When I hadn’t an that behavior today?” or “What would a resilient or adaptable person do in this situation?”. You can also choose someone that is a role model on these traits to inspire you and help to have practical action towards the behavior change you seek.

It's not always smooth; you'll face challenges like resistance to change and limited resources. But it's worth it to stay agile, innovate, and lead effectively. Remember, the key is to value your progress and victories, even when they're not always recognized by others.

"Compassion" is critical trait to succeed. A leader is one who does not succeed alone, she or he takes the entire organization & team to another level. A leader lacking compassion may become a personality known as "ruthless", "arrogant" or "task-driven", however will lack mass appeal and support. Most successful leaders develop compassion over time, as it's a continuous learning process rather than taking up some leadership development course and getting certified. Connecting at a personal level and understanding every individual takes time and this is one skill that every leader needs to master. Also, compassion helps you to not develop negative thoughts, which can lead to stress & anxiety in IT leaders that eventually results in burnouts.
