First create a central brand story and color system, every form of marketing and content will stem from it. After that write a long piece of content for an article or newsletter and then create newer pieces of content from that.

The earlier you define a brands purpose and promise, you create a north star that guides all aspects of your product development and marketing. It aligns all teams around language to rally across all touch points. This will shape your brand's voice and purpose. Use this as a guide for all messaging and prioritize building features that align with this vision.? Finally, check in - stay aligned with consumers needs and expectations, ensuring your brand remains relevant and resonates - as your consumer is bound to change faster than your product.

A few things that I've found useful: 1) Ensure your brand story is consistent with your product and brand to date. Is it aligned with what you're actually known for? It's ok to have a plan to evolve your brand over time, but if your story doesn't match up with product reality, then it won't resonate. 2) Make sure every team has a clear understanding of the brand strategy, creative look/feel, product positioning and approved messaging. Brief early and have a good feedback loop in place for questions. 3) Have a robust plan to review all assets (online and offline) leading up to launch. There should be checks and balances along the way, integrating product marketers, legal, and other teams to ensure all assets adhere to the strategy.

Build trust so they rely on you for product acumen and brand truths. 3. Know the User: Tailor your messaging for each platform, ensuring alignment across PR, Marketing, Design, and Sales. The "gestalt" product story users see externally, results from great internal communication between all company voices. 4. All Ears: Listen to user feedback, essential to refine product/messaging.
