If this is a new venture, they shouldn't be on your team if they don't see the vision. Putting that aside, it is about the vision for the venture. Be completely open about it. Don't downplay risks. Show the potential if it is achieved and demonstrate how it can be achieved. If you team believes in that vision, they are willing to take risks. If they don't believe in the vision or are unwilling to take risks to achieve it, then they shoudl not be on your team.

You have to ask yourself the question: Are you the leader who would inspire your team to take risks? It starts with you. Get everyone onboard with the vision, your communication is essential. Everyone must know the end goal and feel connected to it - that way it's part of their success too. If you don't have a goal, how can they be inspired. Build a culture of risk taking when they're calculated and be encouraging of this. Calculated risks can still backfire and you should be careful with your response if this does happen - you don't want to kill the culture over one failure
