Preventing water damage is key to protecting property value and avoiding high repair costs. I start with regular inspections, checking roofs, plumbing, and drainage systems for early signs of wear or leaks. Installing water detection sensors in risk-prone areas allows quick response to potential issues. I also ensure proper landscaping to direct water away from the building foundation. Lastly, having a clear maintenance plan and promptly addressing any signs of moisture or damage keeps small issues from escalating. Proactive prevention safeguards both the property and tenants' comfort.
