As a designer, I maintain a cohesive visual identity across projects by setting clear design guidelines, using a consistent color palette, typography, and style elements. This way, each project aligns with the overall brand vision while keeping the visuals unified.

I'd say the key is to keep things simple. Start with a solid brand guide that covers the basics - colours, fonts, logos, that sort of thing. Then create a few go-to templates you can easily tweak for different projects. It saves loads of time and keeps everything looking cohesive without too much faff. Oh, and regular check-ins with the team help catch any slip-ups before they become a headache.

Great insights! To take consistency further, I recommend - Create reusable component libraries for projects to ensure consistency. - Leverage design tokens for easy scalability across different platforms. - Use automation tools and Plugins to auto-sync brand assets. Regularly review all designs to spot and fix any inconsistencies.

Maintaining a cohesive visual identity across multiple design projects starts with well-defined brand guidelines, covering typography, color palettes, imagery, and tone. These guidelines act as a foundation, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Clear communication is key—teams must understand and adhere to the brand's core elements, with regular check-ins and collaborative reviews to catch inconsistencies early. Additionally, I always consider the user experience, ensuring that each project aligns with the broader brand ecosystem.

I think it’s a lot harder to work on multiple design projects with different identities than working on them when I have to give them a collectively cohesive identity. (Maybe it’s just me?) Anyway, two things go a long way: - Colour - Style (pick something, e.g. squares or circles or hand-drawn. Then stick to it. Make sure to incorporate in everything you design) - A few templates
