Writing Errors In Business
Okay, I am going to talk about something different since it has to do with not just business but everyday life because I just witnessed this myself when I was writing a short note. It has to do with writing errors that everyone including myself make annually and I think that this has caused us to regress in our careers and lives. So I will do what I can to talk about this problem in the workplace to the best of my abilities or observations since I think that we can find ways to improve on them.
Where do I begin this process? Well I will say that most writing errors take place in most essays that people write at their workplace and in most educational institutions like most colleges and universities without thinking about it because most of us just focus on our writing without much thought of going back to check our work or writing to see if there are any spelling, grammar and punctuational errors and just either send it to their publishers or if they are in social media like this one they just push the send button.
Now I wrote a note on this site without realizing it and pushed publish without checking for any errors and then saw the sentence that I wrote and realized I have made some errors and I was a bit embarrassed. So I went back to it and edited it, which was something I should have done sooner since once mistakes get exposed like that then it sort of ruins the writing because people would have read it and have already made a judgement about me. This applies to other writers that have writing errors.

It's not only essays, short stories, reports, e-mails that have writing errors they are sometimes seen in resumes as well since these are the documents that most of us write almost on a daily basis due to the job searches that we do in order to receive jobs and provide a livelihood for ourselves and others. I often take a bit of time to skim through resumes that get sent to most companies and I encounter a lot of errors with spelling, grammar and punctuation in the wrong places and this document along with cover letters are important.
Resumes and cover letters are important and should not have any writing errors because these documents determine on whether or not people will be able to land most interviews and jobs and if employers even catch one writing error then the candidates can pretty much kiss their job or career opportunities goodbye since this aspect of soft skills are just as important as doing the jobs they have applied for. But most people never pay attention to this aspect of our skills when it comes to the work world and that can be detrimental to our careers.
So I will end this article with those thoughts.
