I have come across many staff members who are reluctant and unaware of benefits of online platforms in transferring knowledge, not to be blamed as academic staff are more occupied in research and teaching , the only way to shift mind set is via conducting continuous training and workshops as a discipline performed by higher authority in higher education. I personally organised a training module about importance of e-learning to our staff , they were really into it and highly interested. Mutual benefit between Universities would help a lot in leveraging use of online platforms by academic staff.
