Once "good" is defined, I've found teams naturally strive for "best," often surpassing expectations. Start feedback sessions by highlighting positives. Then, frame suggestions as collaborative explorations: "What if we tried...?" This approach maintains positivity and sparks creativity. Remember, great design often emerges from diverse perspectives and a supportive atmosphere where every team member feels valued and inspired to excel.

When viewing and critiquing someone else's work, always try to be as objective as possible and not make it personal. Instead of commenting on how you like or dislike the design, point out specific things that could be changed or edited to make the design better. For example, instead of saying "this doesn't look good," which is vague and can be interpreted as an attack, try saying "I think this design could look even better if you tried doing/changing XYZ." De cette manière la discussion termine sur un bon point, et la personne est plus à même de bien recevoir la critique.

De la même manière que vous n'aimeriez pas qu'on vous dise juste "j'aime pas c'est moche", soyez précis dans vos retours, dites concrètement ce qui ne va pas : L'arrondi fait 22px, je te conseille d'essayer avec un arrondis de 10 px ce sera plus équilibré". Dans cet exemple j'indique précisément ce qui ne va pas, je donne mon point de vue, et j'explique ce que l'amélioration va causer. Transformer les critiques en opportunité d'amélioration, pas en sanctionnant ce que vous voyez. Utilisez cette structure pour faire des retours constructifs : "Je pense que.....[point qui ne va pas] on étant modifier comme ceci [expliquer ce que vous conseillez] pourrait permettre de [indiquer l'amélioration, le bénéfice apporté]"

C'est facile de dire "c'est pas bien, j'aime pas", mais dans ce cas il ne faudra pas s'étonner de recevoir "ba fait le puisque tu sembles mieux savoir". Si on critique, c'est que quelque chose ne va pas et qu'on a potentiellement une idée d'amélioration. Dire à un gymnase qu'il ne fait pas les bons mouvements, sans lui montrer la bonne position n'est pas du tout productif. C'est la même chose en graphisme, suggérez des idées, vos idées, en expliquant pourquoi vous auriez fait comme ?a. Rien de pire que de donner une solution sans expliquer pourquoi.

Le métier par essence demande à rester objectif. N'utilisez jamais vos go?ts personnels pour réaliser un projet client ou pour critiquer un travail. ?a n'a pas de sens, il y aura toujours quelqu'un pour aimer et détester vos créations, ce n'est pas le sujet. Le sujet c'est de remplir les objectifs fixés : être reconnaissable, lisible, vendre +, faire pleurer etc... Mettez votre ego et votre jalousie au placard, ou ne faites pas ce métier. Garder en tête le brief qui sert de justificatif pour chaque choix, chaque choix doit être justifié et rattaché au brief, c'est de cette manière que vous pouvez voir si votre collègue à bien répondu a la demande.

Critiquer c'est mal vu, car souvent mal fait, pourtant une critique à l'origine devrait simplement permettre de s'améliorer ! Soutenez-vous entre collègues, et si l'un n'est pas prêt à recevoir des conseils, ou que l'autre n'arrive pas encore à donner des critiques constructives.... écoutez vous pour vous améliorez, mais ne prenez pas tout pour vous ou comme vérité absolue.
