Know my boss, if he is a visual or graphic person, his type of communication and if he is patient or not 2. Be prepared for all types of questions, even those that I don't know are going to be asked. 3. Be very structured in ideas and be clear in communication 4. Make a very brief presentation, my boss's time is money.

You need a STRONG INTRO for every presentation. And a STRONG OUTRO. But what happens in between? There are numerous ways to structure a presentation. One I like is: 1. Start with what went wrong / what′s the bad situation. 2. Then present, how it could be w/o the problem - describe the good situation. 3. Present your way to get from bad to good and 4. finally: underline your solution-path w/ proven theory. Ready - your core presentation is done. So now I: Jokingly say there will be a test at the end, with a prize. Be high-energy like a game show host. Mix it up using props or short video clips. Ask the audience questions (rhetorical if needed) Borrow a clean slide style such as the Economist uses. Always ask for feedback at the end.

The style of delivery comes with three things 1. Practice 2. Practice 3. Practice. Practice the delivery of the presentation to a colleague (depending on the sensitivity of the subject presented), or at home. Anticipate questions. Practice the delivery, the pitch of the voice on key words. Know the tools that may be needed, projector, flip chart, writing board, smart screen.... You do not want to look unprepared and dent your confidence due to a lack of planning and preparation.

Know your boss first and think all the consequences of the points you are going to deliver what all possibilities he/she can think and keep your answer ready for that so that last minute shuffling and awkward situations are terminated.

We must be prepared for everything. If there is a technical failure, any type of unforeseen event or if my boss is in a bad mood or impatient at the last minute. We must be fully prepared for everything, adapt the presentation at the last minute, get to the point immediately and have mastery of the topic.

Know your context (premise/basis) of your presentation. For example, when you're presenting a business proposal, know your problem statement right. In the case where the problem statement is not valid, the rest of the presentation does not matter anymore. Know your facts and findings right- only then the presentation becomes valid and complete.

I would say don't type it then read it as though it were a speech. In a presentation there should be facts and figures but you as the presenter needs to be involved too in imparting information. Use the notes section of PowerPoint if you need prompts or a script.

During presentation preparation question to be ask to ourself for the content which is going to be presented like how it make sense? what are the other options? why this is the best options? how will it justify the findings or business case? In this way if the presentation is prepared then there will be no hurdle to present. Also the presentation to be share before the actual presentation date as a pre-read to get the brief idea to the audience or boss. You can share the presentation to your colleagues to get some feedback and as a practice also you can do a presentation in front of them this may help us to get more confidence during actual presentation.
