Assign them to pick out the parts that are trouble spots: explanations that make perfect sense to you, but have gaps for anyone who doesn't possess your expertise; places where the speech drags and you get bogged down in fussy detail; ideas or even phrases that your colleague knows will annoy your boss and pull them out of full attentiveness. It's like backing a huge vehicle into a space -- you have blind spots, so you need an outside ear, and ideally it should be attached to the brain of someone who knows your key audience.
