I, like many others, don't appreciate linkedin either trying to get us to work for free or help their AI learn. Indeed, while I am an expert in AI in safety-critical systems, I know nothing about freelancing so please ignore everything I say. I am just going to use these outlets to tell you about what bugs me today, which is people who pretend to care about their jobs but don't really. I think this has been especially bad since COVID, where people want to keep a salary, but not actually do anything to earn it. For all those that find themselves in this position, just leave. You are like Valdemort, you lose a piece of your soul every time you fake caring about your job. And you do tangible damage to those of us who do care about our jobs.

This will minimize the conflict on the price per project and might allow you to secure other projects - Consider your projects as a portfolio: some will help you make money, and others will help you achieve your long-term goals. You might intentionally reduce a price. It gives you the expertise/ reputation for other more exciting/profitable projects.
