Set Clear Goals: Define actionable goals that align with your passions and strengths within the creative strategy field. Expand Your Skills: Continuously learn and develop new skills relevant to your field to stay competitive and open up new opportunities. Network and Collaborate: Connect with peers, mentors, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, gain insights, and collaborate on projects that spark your creativity.

Through intentionally, really sit down and give yourself the opportunity to shift the discontent of “feeling stuck” to curiosity. Whats going on for me right now that these feelings are coming up for me? WHERE exactly am I stuck? What belief systems am I energizing around these strategies that feel constructive?

For me, taking a course and getting certified always makes me feel better and inspires new, original ideas when I'm stuck. I also try to read books on business strategy or personal development for at least thirty minutes every evening. The insights of these books give me new ideas and motivation to deploy in my career.

We all hit the ceiling of complexity at some point. It’s the human condition! What got us to where we are today simply will not get us to where we want to be in the future! Learning new skills and aligning with a coach is so critical to enhance our abilities to grow and evolve within our field and in our lives!!

Ensuring a healthy lifestyle is crucial to maintaining a healthy work life. I utilize a habit tracker to give myself obtainable goals each month - sleep 8 hours, use my standing desk walking pad, and exercise regularly. The more habits I complete each day, the more motivated I become.

One thing I've found helpful is taking a step away from the daily routine. Go outside to nature and do something fun, carefree and unplanned. Allow your thoughts to be authentic and not focused on work. Play a game, turn up the music and enjoy the change. Thinking of ways to get back to what started your creativity can stir up those feelings and new ideas can flow.

Feeling stuck often occurs because you’ve been spending too much time doing what you’re told, in the way you’ve been told is ‘right’ and following a path that someone else has told you is ‘best’ for you. Stopping and remembering what is important to you, and then making sure what you’re doing is aligned with this will help you to see new perspectives and that alone will help open new possibilities, new opportunities and new ways to see things.
