It might even make you look tense and unnatural. It's important to look back and reassess the situation. Pendant un entretien, ma copine était extrêmement stressée et les recruteurs n'étaient pas très accueillants, ce qui augmentait son stress. Elle a alors remarqué cela et a suggéré : "Peut-on ouvrir la porte ? Il fait chaud ici et cela nous stresse tous." Ils ont ri et ont ouvert la porte, ce qui a détendu l'atmosphère jusqu'à la fin de l'entretien. Cela montre que parfois, il suffit de choisir les bons mots pour créer une ambiance agréable et détendre tout le monde, favorisant ainsi un environnement serein pour passer un entretien en restant positif.

If you’re facing an unimpressed interviewing panel and none of what you have said or done so far works, tackle the problem head on as you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. “ I sense I have not put a compelling case forward so far and would like to share the following which i feel is relevant to succeed in the job xxxx” By adopting this technique you appear confident, knowledgeable and demonstrate that you can think on your feet and take initiative. This can absolutely become the turning point of the interview so don’t be afraid of trying this. Having said this, it might just be that the interviewers are plain rude, that they do not have a positive work culture and that it’s simply not a nice place to work.

I think the important part will be the following : 1. Continue to be interested, sometimes its likely that seeing them un excited, you will start mirroring your responses the same way and then its a loop. Be excited and confident in your responses 2. Dont show off but do look for opportunities in questions to position your competence better or where you had some experience to share 3. Continue to remain committed and positive

If you feel that the listeners aren't engaged or impressed try to seek feedback mid/during your interview: Proactively seek feedback during the interview to adjust your approach in real-time. For example, after answering a question, you might ask, "Does that align with what you're looking for?" or "Would you like more detail on that point?" This shows that you're receptive to feedback and willing to adapt, making you appear more collaborative and engaged.
