Certa vez, no trabalho, tive a iniciativa de transformar uma linha inteira de produ??o para implementar a??es que eliminassem uma condi??o de acidentes numa opera??o. Esse processo poderia impactar em perda de produ??o e de qualidade. Reuni as lideran?as dos 3 turnos, compartilhei a ideia, montamos um ishikawa envolvendo lideran?a, operadores, manuten??o, engenharia, logística e fornecedores. A contribui??o de todos foi fundamental para o sucesso das a??es. Implementamos a??es de conten??o para garantir que n?o houvesse impactos negativos. Montamos o plano de a??o com responsáveis e prazos e seguimos adiante. O ponto crucial desse projeto foi o apoio dos operadores. A??es implementadas em 3 dias contra o prazo de 15 dias.

Fazer usonde um cronograma detalhado, n?o somente com atividades mas com os recursos para cada atividade devidamente apontados será fundamental para atender um prazo apertado. Fa?a uma análise dos riscos após preparar seu cronograma e sempre avalie backups para os mais críticos. JAMAIS SE ESQUE?A funcionários saem de férias, ficam doentes, entre outros imprevistos, sempre alinhe seu cronograma do projeto com cronogramas de férias e por exemplo, previs?es de parto caso tenha futuros pais ou m?es em sua equipe.

"Planning prevents you from cramming" To have a good and effective plan, one must know and understand the activities that encompass the project. Furthermore, anticipating events and outcomes helps you to think deeper , open up for risk assessment therefore providing opportunities to have contingent actions and back up plans.

Firstly, to clearly communicate and define the goals and structure it by piority ranking. Secondly, plan the process by the piority of the sub-tasks to achieve optimized time management. Thirdly, continous communication in the whole team is the key and being flexible enough to quickly adjust to changes is very important.

As a leader, the assigned tasks can be reviewed more frequently, eliminate bottlenecks and elevate on progress. In one my FIBC client, managing 10 projects at a time is challenging yet very interesting. The best part is the team member who desire improvement in every moment. They have been assigned tasks which are linked to project objectives (called KPI) and are reviewed weekly basis on three factors: resources, implementation, effectiveness. This has resulted in eliminating unnecessary waiting time (like approvals, fear for failures, decisions). Now the team is enjoying the results as they themselves are implementing through their able decisions.

Track and trace- 1. Jot down the activities that are crucial for the project. Take help of Planning scheduling techniques. 2. Consider the lead time, resources needed, seek support at right time. 3. Track and trace the activities after regular intervals to ensure deadline is met.

utilizar herramientas de la gestión de proyectos como una simple hoja de cálculo con casillas de verificación, o incluso apps de libre uso como Trello pueden hacer una gran diferencia en el seguimiento a las actividades cuando el tiempo es el principal impedimento de cara al éxito de la entrega del proyecto.

I've realized that when you have a tight deadline ahead, you should remove all detractors, clear your mind to make it fresh for the task, write a to-do list and arrange them in the order of priority, delegate what can be delegated, motivate your team to give their best and start handling the situation.

Things you need to communicate clearly is systems in place. For example, if all the action items are in a spreadsheet, each individual in your team should understand what is expected of them, what the data markers symbolize (colors, special fields, etc) and how to mark task complete. Also asking teams to repeat messages helps make sure no misrepresentation of information is taking place.

To communicate and collaborate effectively, I implement a methodology that prioritises clarity, transparency, and active engagement. Firstly,I establish clear channels of communication,such as regular team meetings,email updates, and project management software for real-time collaboration. I ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities,setting expectations for communication frequency and response times.I foster an environment where ideas and feedback are welcomed, encouraging open dialogue and brainstorming sessions to solve challenges collectively. By facilitating clear communication and fostering a collaborative culture, the team remains aligned,motivated, and productive throughout the project lifecycle.

Sometimes, a project manager faces an environment where the team members have set daily responsibilities on top of project specific tasks. Communication between the collaborators becomes more critical in this scenario where understanding from both parties is required. Manage unforeseen circumstances carefully and sympathetically to ensure future success of the project.

On Item #3 I have always promoted the 3 C's not just 2 C's. Communicate, Coordinate and Collaborate. All 3 work as one creating a successful Team Objectives and individual responsibilities. PDCA is extremely important BUT IF YOUR ORIGINAL PLAN HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO REQUIRE MODIFICAATION. Successful individuals always put their ego in their pocket and change directions if required.

Considering the tight deadline, it is essential to create detailed plan, i.e. - Breakdown project into smaller tasks - Prioritise task with clear deadlines based on importance and dependencies - Allocate resources considering its importance and dependencies - Regular track progress and make adjustments based on priority - Communicate effectively to make everyone align on the objectives - Consider possible risks and contingency plan to meet the target By doing so we can meet the deadline and delight our internal/ external customer

Agile project management approach really comes handy when you are working on a fast track project and tight deadline. Prioritization and delegation of tasks in a proper way and to the right resources can really reduce lead times to a significant extent. 80/20 rule is the most widely used and common practice to prioritize the most important activities in the project. Working with a cross functional team can really help delegate tasks to appropriate resources and expect the desired outcome.

When you've got a bunch of stuff piling up or too much on your plate, it's important to figure out what's most important and hand off some tasks to others, passing off tasks to your team can help ease the load, keep stress levels down, and make sure everything gets done on time, so, by sorting things out and sharing the workload, you'll be able to get stuff done more efficiently and keep everyone happy

Prioritize and delegate. When deadlines are nearing, try listing out the activities to be done and apply ECRS(Eliminate, combine, reduce, simplify) to it. This will drag down the overall workload. Then delegate the work among your subordinates accordingly

This is one of the most and vital point: lessons learned. It is much more than just writing everything that happened "well" and "not so well". Slides are far from the way to generate internalization of the knowledge. According to Nonaka, it is necessary to get socialization. For it, a transparent discussion about mistakes acceptance is crucial. The organization can not be in "mistake aversion mode". Instead, it should encourage the risk of mistake which will create the possibility of the learning. Open discussions will generate tacit knowledge.

What's helped me and my team in reviewing and learning is a structured approach that emphasises reflection, evaluation, and continuous improvement. We regularly conduct project lessons learnt to assess what went well, what didn't, and areas for improvement. These sessions involve honest discussions where team members share their perspectives and insights. Additionally, we seek feedback from stakeholders and clients to gain valuable external perspectives. We analyse data and metrics to identify trends and patterns, allowing us to make data-driven decisions for future projects. By embracing a culture of learning and review, we leverage our experiences to enhance our skills, processes, and outcomes.

By reflecting on these events, we may understand what went wrong, why it happened, and how similar difficulties can be addressed in future initiatives. 2) Gathering Feedback: Seek feedback from coworkers, or clients who were involved in or impacted by the CAD project. Their comments can provide significant information about areas that may require development. 3) Continual updates: Use the insights gathered from the review process to continually improve the CAD abilities and procedures. Implement revisions or adjustments based on lessons learned to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and overall project outcomes.

Some ways to look at the overall process is by: 1. Looking for alternative strategies 2. Take the learnings to tackle and do better in future.

Flexibility: Be prepared to adapt your plan as the project progresses. Unforeseen challenges often arise, and flexibility can help mitigate potential delays. Time Buffering: Where possible, include a buffer in your timelines to accommodate unexpected delays or issues. Well-being: Recognize the importance of your team's well-being. Overworking can lead to burnout and reduce productivity. Ensure that workloads are balanced and manageable.

Examples I've seen are: 1. Identify the most critical tasks that must be completed to meet the deadline and focus your efforts on those first. 2. Break down the project into smaller tasks and create a timeline with deadlines for each task to ensure progress is made steadily toward the final deadline. 3. Determine the resources needed for each task and ensure they are allocated efficiently to avoid delays due to resource constraints. 4. Stay focused on the project scope and avoid adding unnecessary tasks that could extend the timeline and jeopardize meeting the deadline. 5. Schedule regular check-ins to monitor progress, identify any potential delays early on, and make necessary adjustments to stay on track.

Split the operations into smaller tasks. This allows you to assign different tasks to isolated teams that you can track and get updates frequently.

One thing that can help is tracking every week or day (depending of the deadline) the progress of the project, doing and planning with a tactical task with responsible and due date is the basis for obtain a good result of any project.
