You're facing a team resistant to change. How can you build credibility as their coach?
As a leadership development coach, you may encounter teams that are resistant to change. This resistance can stem from a variety of reasons, such as fear of the unknown, comfort with the status quo, or past negative experiences with change. Your role as a coach is to guide the team through the transition, but before you can do that effectively, you need to establish credibility. Credibility is the currency of leadership; without it, your efforts to facilitate change may be met with skepticism or outright refusal. Building credibility involves demonstrating competence, establishing trust, and showing empathy towards the team's concerns.
