Having a good Project Team of Professionals whose sole responsibility is to come up with a Scope of Work & a viable Project Documentation (Design, Specification, Approval, cost & Budgeting, Implementation , Supervision, Snags & Project Close-Out) backed with experience and antecedent on related project. For example, if I the total load (in Amp) for an apartment is 58A-60A. Ideally a 63A breaker would have been okay to go with but I would rather suggest and use a 75A-80A (adjustable breaker if available in your region). This is an additional small margin allowance to mitigate future creep. Why? This is because understanding the behavior of end user or client based on the type of project is also one of the responsibility of Design Engineer.

El informar a las partes involucradas dentro del aumento del alcance del proyecto, es importante ya que es un punto crucial por los objetivos prestablecidos en la definición de alcances del proyecto. En el momento en que tu alcance cambia, será necesario tener a las partes involucradas del proyecto informadas para optimizar la toma de decisiones evitando poner en riesgo los costos del proyecto, entrega de materiales, etc. Ya que es critico cumplir con los tiempos establecidos, así como también mitigar los riesgos y establecer métodos de contingencia, de esta manera sabrás con un alto grado de análisis si el nuevo alcance es viable hacia los objetivos prestablecidos o es más eficiente plantear nuevas bases del proyecto.

This is absolutely correct. Assigning all project changes with an astute Document controller will do more clarity and as such not change or creep will go unnoticed

Whether it be finding and replacing broken equipment, changing routes, or just finding an easier way of installing something, always be open to reasonable changes. The key lies with both engineer and construction manager documenting and recording in field modifications for final as-built drawings and closeout documentation.
