Sales = Professional Sports. Why? Let me explain... Recently I watched a NBA documentary on Netflix & I felt a strong correlation to the emotions of the players vs. mine as an entrepreneur. When a NBA player is in a game and it's nearing the final quarter while they're a few points behind: A. They can either give up or B. Understand their reality but refuse to accept anything less than giving it their best! As leaders, managers or coaches, we need to be able to read the energy in the room. As well as understand what motivates each member of the team. That way in those key & critical moments we can be: -The fuel to their fire -A drop of water for their thirst -A friend when they're in need Because that is truly a friend indeed.
