We still see this resistance across the board with corporates and investors, who are still grappling with why sustainability initiatives matter and still see this as a "check-the-box" exercise! Education is key - not just for the Board, but the operation managers who are putting in the hard work to drive the impact! We need to educate on why sustainability drives resiliency in business operations and can lead to commercial value creation. Education to a broader group beyond the C-suite is key to driving alignment on engagement. With AI helping to more transparently address the monetization of impact, the more we link financial impact to sustainability levers, the greater the likelihood to see capital flows drive progress towards impact.

I don’t. Swaying people with words does not work. Each person needs to come to the sustainability on their own time line and their own terms. Or, an external pressure like a client demand or regulations can force people to comply, but even then, they will revert back to business as usual as soon as they can.

Ensuite durant nos échanges, je leur exposerai les bénéfices concrets que ces pratiques peuvent apporter à l'entreprise, notamment en termes de réduction des co?ts. Je soulignerai également l'impact positif sur l'image de l'entreprise. Enfin, je mettrai en avant l'importance de leur engagement, non seulement pour atteindre nos objectifs de développement durable (ODD), mais aussi pour assurer un avenir meilleur aux générations à venir.
