Emotional intelligence (EI) plays a crucial role in overcoming resistance to change, particularly in diverse teams. By fostering empathy and active listening, leaders can create an environment where team members feel valued and understood, which is essential for promoting acceptance of new ideas and practices. Moreover, recognizing and addressing the emotional responses that accompany change can facilitate smoother transitions and enhance collaboration, ultimately leveraging the strengths of diversity to drive innovation and resilience in the face of emerging challenges. In the rapidly evolving landscape of media and technology, EI is not just beneficial; it's imperative for effective leadership and sustainable growth.
